ATMA Ch. DRAKYI Rebel-lion
x Denali's Tsunami SIMBA, a seventh generation DRAKYI line-bred dog, has become the focus and foundation of our breeding program, and others around the world. A double grandson of the breed great "Maynard," harkening back to the fabled giant Tsang Khyi variety, Simba and his get have set new standards for size, bone, head type and temperament. He was ATMA's National Specialty Stud Dog winner for 1995 and 1996. Simba represents the ideal Tibetan Mastiff as the cover dog for the breed book, The Tibetan Mastiff, Legendary Guardian of the Himalayas, by Rohrer and Flamholtz, and is featured on the breed DVD, "The Magnificent Tibetan Mastiff." |

DOM is the linebred son of our 2008 Westminster Best of Breed, Barnes, and he represents some 30 years of selective breeding for our signature type. He is the sire of our premiere Group winning show dog, ADONIS.

PLAYBOY began his journey to the West in 2007 after my judging assignment in Anyang, China, from the prized "$600,000.00" bloodline there. The only dog of his pure Tibetan bloodline to ever be allowed out of China to date, and grandson of the renowned "Hongdo," he was a treasured gift from the respected "Father of the Tibetan Mastiff" in China, my friend and associate, Wang Zhankui of the Tibetan Mastiff Research Center in Gongyi, Henan, China. And the legacy continues, with PLAYBOY'S first pure Tibetan litter born in 2009, yet another generation showing the authentic Tibetan type prized in native lands.
